Heavenly Rosehip
I thought I would make Rosehip Oil my first beauty recommendation as it’s quickly becoming my favourite skincare product. I’ve been using it for about 8 months and have notice the difference in my skin texture and reduction in fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes. I find my skin looks brighter and less dull when I wake in the morning.
Rosehip is a wonderful oil because it doesn’t matter if you have oily, dry or combination, it will nourish your skin and give you a youthful glow. Healthy, glowing skin starts from within and we have to eat right to slow the signs of ageing. This means a diet rich in antioxidants, healthy fats, protein and lots of water. But your skincare regime also has to be right. Cleansing morning and night, washing off your makeup, drawing out impurities with a mask once a week, moisturising and protecting your face during the day with a natural sunscreen are all important.

Rosehip oil contains vitamin A and essential fatty acids which promotes healthy cell regeneration.
Application:
After cleansing my face at night, I apply about 2/3 drops onto my fingertips and massage in, particularly focusing on my problem areas. I was initially worried about using an oil on my face as I’m prone to spots, however, it doesn’t congest my skin and helps to heal any blemishes. It soaks in very quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy. The products comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper dispenser.

I love this skincare product for a number of reasons, one being that the ingredients come from the complete rosehip plant. This demonstrates the power of nature if left alone to work its wonders. The CO2 extraction method and the high antioxidant value is what gives rosehip oil its amazing colour.
Rosehip Oil is especially good for stretch marks so I bought this for my sister during her pregnancies and she uses it on her stomach. It really helped to fade her stretch marks. The reason it’s so good for scars and stretch marks is attributed to the trans-retinoic acid, a derivative of vitamin A, and essential fatty acids which promotes healthy cell regeneration.
In 1988 Rosehip Oil was trialled in a two-year study. It was applied to 180 patients with surgical, traumatic and burn scars, as well as to a group suffering from premature ageing of the skin. The results; continuous application of rosehip oil effectively attenuated scars and wrinkles, halted advancement of premature ageing and restored skin colour and tone.
LOVE Rosehip Oil and would recommend to everyone.
