Like most people these days, life is very busy and eating intelligently takes a lot of research and knowledge that I don’t possess nor have the time to research. We’ve all been there, you’re seeing a guy and you’re beginning to like him, he’s attentive, seems thoughtful, intelligent and makes you laugh. Then, just when it’s all going well and has the potential to develop into a committed relationship, he suddenly changes. Gone is the charm, the regular contact, the urgency to set up the next date and this is replaced by a kind of aloofness. You begin to wonder if you did something wrong and start to question what has changed? I’ve heard it [...]

Soy is everywhere these days and has been touted as a health food that can be used as an alternative to cows milk. Health claims include its ability to regulate hormones, reduce hot flushes during menopause and reduce the risk of breast cancer. Having studied the subject of nutrition for quite some time, I have noticed a lot of judgement that comes from all directions. The media is full of opinions with hundreds of different diets purporting to produce miraculous results that will apparently suit everyone who tries it. Many ‘camps’ don’t seem open to the another way and the idea prevails that one size fits all.
The inspiration for this article came from a social media post comparing two high profile women. [...]

The next and final part of my article is all about water filtration. I have attempted to decipher the different kinds of filter systems so you can make the best choice for your needs and budget.
Brita and ZeroWater jugs/pitchers
PROS: Cheap and fits easily into the fridge.
CONS: Brita provides very minimal filtration.
COST: Starts at £19.99 for a Brita (approx $21 in the US) and £55.99 (approx $30 in the US) for a ZeroWater.
A lot of people in the [...]
